In our experience marketing is one of those words that people really hate to hear, whether it's a sales person shouting down the phone at you, or at a lecture where you are constantly being told that you should do it this way or that way.

When it comes to marketing, the first question we ask is
'What would you like to achieve?'

In a time of economic recovery we advise that the best way of marketing is through 'blanket advertising'. Direct mailing, e-shots and cold calling don't work in the climate we are in today.

People are too busy worrying about their own finances and don't have the patience to have your information forced upon them. By advertising regularly but without 'being pushy', customers will recognise your logo, your brand, and when they need the service you offer, they are more likely to think of your company.

How much is marketing support going to cost?
The word marketing seems to come with a price tag. First of all, our marketing advice is free, and most clients find that they get a lot out of us when we come for a design consultation! We do offer continual marketing support for companies, including planning and implementing marketing strategies. This is not something you can put a price on on a website. Every business is different. Every business needs a different type of 'marketing support'.

Case Study
Bigthinkers Ltd. were asked to help expand a local theatre school for young people based in Derby.

Month 1: All marketing tools such as leaflets, brochures and posters were re-vamped complete with a new corporate image and style.

Month 2: The schools website is launched and by the end of March received over 1000 visitors, increasing interest in the school, as well as attracting new students.

With the help of Bigthinkers' expansion plan, the theatre school opens a third centre in the area increasing turnover by 33%.

Month 5: Bigthinkers integrate a payment system through their website in order to sell theatre tickets for the school's July production

Month 8: Results come in for ticket sales showing that the marketing carried out by Bigthinkers which included the integration of the online payment system, increased ticket sales by 22% on the organisations previous production.

Predicted month 11: With the support of Bigthinkers the theatre school will be opening a fourth centre.

Predicted following 12 months: With the ongoing support of Bighthinkers the theatre school will be opening a further 3 centres and seriously considering franchising.
